katie-p "As one of the first students enrolled in C.U.R.E., the first thing that impressed me on my initial visit to the school was the staff's enthusiasm to teach a subject that they obviously had a passion for. It wasn't long after my first day of class that I discovered other aspects of the school that makes it a place anyone serious about learning the science of ultrasound technology in the medical field would greatly appreciate. Walking into class, the first thing you notice is their modern equipment. From the laptops at every seat, to the Kindle e-readers in the library, to the ultrasound scanning machines that you will be learning on. Everything is start-of-the-art. Now that I'm a C.U.R.E. graduate, looking back at my learning experience there, one of the things I appreciated the most was the teaching techniques they used. roman A lot of men may shun ultrasound thinking that it is a career geared towards women and that you will scan babies all the time. That is not the case. I ended up falling in love with cardiac ultrasound. Being able to see the heart in real time and hearing the sounds makes it thrilling.
